Astrid Emde is part of the Mapbender Team. She is an active member of
OSGeo and especially OSGeo-Live. She is also active in the german
language OSGeo local chapter FOSSGIS e.V which organized the annual
FOSSGIS conference.

She lead several workshops and presentations on Mapbender, MapServer,
GeoServer, PostgreSQL/PostGIS and OWS, for example at FOSS4G, FOSSGIS,
PGConf.DE or AGIT.
