20160317 121203v2 small30 rot90cl

Shipping quality software always involves in-depth testing. In order to minimize time spent on repetitive actions, this task should be fully automated. During this talk Paweł will discuss key problems faced while building automatic testing infrastructure for Tizen operating system images. He will also present how Tizen release team dealt with this task. Both hardware and software presented in this talk is open-sourced and can be easily used to build embedded software testing lab.

This talk will guide through the process of setting up fully unattended testing environment. Detailed lessons learned from creating such a laboratory will be presented. Presentation will concern not only results publication or CI software, but also designing necessary hardware. It will hopefully encourage attendees to try it out in their own setups and adjust open hardware to individual needs. Everyone who wants to learn from other’s experience in creating fully unattended testing laboratory is welcome.
